Nigerian Breweries holds Second Beer and Health Symposium in Nigeria …As experts highlight health benefits of beer and lifestyle
I followed the last edition of the European Beer & Health Symposium and most of the papers presented by scientists dealt with the latest research on the potential effects of moderate beer consumption on the health of consumers and I am happy to see Nigerian Breweries Plc., holding the second edition of Beer & Health Symposium, with the Theme: ‘Beer and Lifestyle’ on Tuesday, 24th November, 2015 at the Grand African Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos, from 9:00am prompt.
This year edition of ‘The Beer & Health Symposium’ will give industry followers, food enthusiasts and professionals, brewers, researchers and the final consumers the opportunity to see the synergy between moderate beer consumption and balanced lifestyle in adults.
And with key note speakers like Dr Henk FJ Hendriks (Ph.D), a Project Leader at Netherlands’ Institute for Food and Nutrition; Prof. Tola Atinmo, a renowned Professor of Nutrition at University of Ibadan; Mrs. Dolapo Coker, a Nutrition Consultant; Prof. Emevwo Biakolo, a Dean of the School of Media and Communication at the Pan African University, Lagos and an eminent lawyer and Television Personality, Ebuka Obi-Echendu, we are confident that issues that bother on ‘What’s in Beer?”, ‘Beer’s Place in the Diet’ and “Moderate consumption of beer and your health” will be seriously attended to.
